Vitality Sessions

Low-impact exercise sessions designed specifically for the mature woman. The sessions commence in January and will suit ladies who are returning to exercise after a long period of inactivity, ladies who are recovering from any physical condition and also those who are new to structured exercise. Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace and rest when needed. The sessions aim to increase flexibility and range of movement, improve strength, cardiovascular fitness, bone mineral density, balance and coordination.

Sessions will be conducted daily at Townsville PCYC, Wellington Street Aitkenvale. Book now to avoid disappointment.

Mums and Bubs Sessions

February offers new mums the opportunity to get back into shape after giving birth. This can be a challenging task, especially when there’s a new baby to look after. Our new “Mums and Bubs” sessions aim to strengthen abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, increase flexibility and strengthen the spine, as well as educate mums on correct bending and lifting techniques.

Sessions will be conducted daily at Townsville PCYC, Wellington Street Aitkenvale. Book now to avoid disappointment.

Robyn’s cardiovascular fitness is above average for her age group. She has been taking part in sessions with Rose for four months, attends pilates classes, walks four times a week for relaxation and works with light weights in the gym. Over this period she has found that her flexibility and range of movement have improved and she can now touch her toes!
